Our new signings Jakup Jimmy Durmaz and Şener Özbayraklı visited Galatasaray President Mustafa Cengiz after signing their contracts. During the visit both players shared their thoughts and feelings regarding their transfer to Galatasaray by talking to Galatasaray TV.

Jakup Jimmy Durmaz: "I am really happy to come to Galatasaray. I was proud from the first moment I wore the jersey. I want to tell the fans I will compete until the very end and do my best to make us the champions again next season.

Mr. Terim and I talked several times before. I love him, he is a top football coach. He is the best football coach in Turkey. To have such a coach and having success together is going to be a huge honor.

Playing in Türk Telekom Stadium with full of fans will be incredible. I cannot wait for the next season. Cimbombom is the greatest!"

Şener Özbayraklı:

"I am now with a very big club and incredibly excited. I am very happy with the interest shown in me and can't wait to show I am worth it. I hope to have my share in future titles and trophies and be part of success. Hope, it will be best for both sides.

Being wanted by Mr. Terim is an honor. We worked together in Turkish National Team for years and he was a big part of my transfer. Doing more than my best and prove that he is right to want me are now my goals.

I played big games before and know the tension of those matches. I know what the fan support means and how fans are important in Turkey. I am going to do my best as they continue to support us. To make our fans happy, I will fight more and more with each passing game. God willing, with their support we are going to have a lot of success and I will serve this jersey for many years.

I played Champions League Qualification games in my career but never played a Champions League game. I am going to have this experience with Galatasaray and I am aware how important it is. I am going to motivate myself and work for this challenge. These are going to be high-level games, I want to prepare in the best way and play to the best of my abilities."
